At Opal Beauty Academy, we offer three beauty curriculums: Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring. Each program has different licensing requirements, which determines the hours and length of each curriculum completion. Manicuring is our shortest program, which takes approximately 4 months. Our Esthetics program takes approximately 6 months to complete. Cosmetology is the most comprehensive program for licensing, and takes approximately 10 months.

Opal Beauty Academy hours for students are 8:30 a.m–5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All students attend Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. through the Basics portion of the curriculum. Following the completion of Basics, part-time students will attend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

For student payment plans, Opal Beauty Academy offers two options for student enrollment. You have the option to either pay in full, or to enroll in a monthly payment plan that divides payment approximately over each month of the selected program enrollment period.

No. Opal Beauty Academy does not provide financial aid or accept FAFSA.

Yes! There are lots of scholarships available out there. Opal Beauty Academy does not currently offer scholarships; however, we encourage you to search cosmo scholarships and look into scholarships you may qualify for.

Yes, we do! Opal Beauty Academy provides students with hands-on opportunities through our guest services.
